I've got my hands on the new Moz Analytics tool-set (it's still in beta at the moment) and have had a play around with some of the new features on offer. My initial impression is that this is a big step forward in terms of UI/UX - it's clear that Moz have addressed some issues here. They have also added some exciting new social media tracking features, including Google+ (finally!).
Take a look at the full walk-through video that I have made that gives an overview of all of the features, and see you you can expect from Moz's latest offering...

Nice overview of the new Moz, Matthew! But I see that Moz don’t have a single reporting option yet.
Hi Stanley, you are able to export to .csv at the moment but I would imagine that they are working on full PDF reports as well.
Finally, a nice detailed view of the upcoming Moz interface. I’m guessing the “Opportunities” section of the Links menu will be dedicated to a revamped Link Intersect tool. I also hope they improve the design on the “Competitive Metrics” section.
Anyway, nice one Matthew!
Thanks Mihai, yes I’m hoping that the opportunities section includes the competitive link intersect tool – that was one of my most used SEOmoz tools before the rebrand.
Moz vs. KISSMetrics and the advantages of using them over Google Analytics? What’s your say? 🙂
Good question, Rohit, but I don’t think that either of those tools are replacements for Google Analytics; they simply augment it. I haven’t spent huge amounts of time using Kiss Metrics but there are huge amounts of great features. Regarding Moz, I personally love their keyword research tools, as well as the way that they visualise data into graphs, etc – this is the big pull for me.
Whenever I’m using the tools, I’m always using Google Analytics alongside them – it’s too good not to!
That’s what I needed to know. I’m having to rely on GA alone as I can’t afford costly solutions like KISSMetrics or Moz yet. Google Analytics is good for the Analytics part, but not that effective for SEO research, I think.
Thanks for your reply, Matt. 🙂
Hello Friend
really i will use these information really really amazing tool and really amazing features so thanks for sharing me 🙂

Thanks for the review Matt – I received an invite into the beta as well – but I don’t have the right project to trial it on at the moment. It is good to see that Moz is taking it so seriously. With the increase in keywords (not provided) – a bit of competition in the marketplace for the old ‘G’ is a good thing – not that Moz’ product competes with Analytics – more just ties in with their metrics.
Yeah – Moz has a good toolset. Having said that, I’ve been using it less and less recently. For on-page reports and in particular, keyword competitive analysis it’s awesome.
